The Hornet Nest will host the Annual Awards Dinner, and will be paying for the athlete's dinner and awards. Parents are invited, April 25th @ 6:00 PM. The $50 per person includes $15 dollars for the team. Hope you can join us!
Coach Ridgely has committed to bring the entire team to the ECAC Championships. This is a moment of celebration for everyone that has worked so hard this season. This commitment is a huge financial commitment and may leave some financial needs for the Team later this season. The Hornet Nest is commited to filling those needs.

The Delaware State Equestrian Program is in its 18th year competing in the NCAA recognized National Collegiate Equestrian Association (a Division 1 sport). Delaware State competes against the best programs in the country including Auburn, Georgia, Oklahoma State, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M, and Texas Christian University.
Dedicated to excellence in sport and academics, these athletes excel at both.
Signature victories against huge schools, many NCEA All Americans, and 1st Team ECAC riders highlight this team
The Lady Hornets collected a total of 30 academic honors from the 2024 APHA National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) on the First Team, Second Team, Honorable Mention, and Honor Roll lists.
Most of our fundraising goes to making the Athlete's experience that of a Division 1 athletic program. Some events that we sponsor: Team Pool Party, Big/Little Sister Ceremony, Team Tailgate @ football, Halloween Party, Lunches on meet day, wellness events throughout the year, awards and award dinner.
